David Jackson
Having trained as an Articled Clerk with a leading Doncaster practise David deserted private practise and moved into industry. gaining valuable experience with some world leading companies in foundries, light engineering, retailing & contracting he established his first private practice in 1978. A restless streak saw him owning and operating several businesses as well as the accountancy practice. Engineering, sheep farming, pig farming, equestrain and executive roles in several other ventures were enjoyed before he took a break and moved to America for five years to run a substantial engineering company.
Returning to England in 1999 and settling near Grantham he spent a year with a local engineering company before setting up another private practice. In 2014 the business was merged with Martin’s to produce Jackson JMR. In addition to wide ranging financial & management accounting knowledge he devotes significant time to ensuring clients tax affairs are arranged in the most efficient and effective manner. With a very proactive approach & drawing on his industrial experience in many fields he understands the pressures in so many entreprises.
